Rampart House - New Orleans

Our Rampart House is a 120 year-old, Greek revival double shot gun and was converted into our single family in 2008 after an extensive renovation.  We have completed our rennovations and as you can see we remodeled our courtyard, changing it from cement to classic New Orleans brick. We also created an addition of the back on the Rampart house that is now a laundry room with two new LG washers and dryers. The new additions gives access to laundry to both the Rampart House and Courtyard Suite!

The Rampart House boasts 2200 square feet with 3 bedrooms including a master suite and 2 1/2 bathrooms. We have 8 fireplaces with original mantels and exposed brick, non working. More for looks. Tons of New Orleans character!

We can sleep up to 6 people! 

It has two large parlors that have been decorated in New Orleans style with and exposed free-standing double fireplace...it's a great place to relax.  Original large pocket doors flank the parlor and lead to the rest of the house. Beyond the parlor are two guest bedrooms with queen beds and access to a larger bath. We then have an open concept dining, living and kitchen. The master suite is toward the rear of the home with a king bed, master ensuite: with two vanities and a dramatic walk in shower. There is a private water closet as well. Kitchen is fully equipped with stainless appliances, gas cook top, double ovens and dishwasher and has dining as well. There is an office space and half bath just before you step out to the lush and classic courtyard. 

In the courtyard you will find a peaceful place to relax and a cool one with the shade of a massive live oak tree. There is plenty of seating to soak it all in. We also have a grill for bar-b-queing! There is a set of stairs to our second floor Courtyard Suite that sleeps 2 and is accessed from the street via an alley way along the side of the house.

Amenities:

The house comes with central air conditioning/heating, ceiling fans in all rooms, internet TV's in living area and all bedrooms, security camera system, outside, for your protection, as well as our home's protection for all. We provide bottled water, body-bath wash and shampoo.  Umbrellas for the occasional rainy day and coffee/tea is provided. The kitchen is stocked with all necessary cooking needs. Laundry has dye-free detergents, softeners,

and dryer sheets.

We are a NON Smoking establishment. No smoking in or around the property. Strictly enforced. Please, if you must smoke, take it away from our home. Any form of smoking detected, inside or outside, will forfeit your security deposit. No exceptions!

*These rates are subject to change and may not be the rates quoted on Airbnb or VRBO. These platforms use variable pricing based on comparable rentals in the area. Rates are secured at the time a rental agreement is completed. Booking with us directly can save you fees from the vacation sites.
